As the Income tax Due Date is Approaching Everybody started Filing there Income Tax Return. After Filing your income tax return online or e-filed your return on income tax e-filing portal, an acknowledgment form generates, that is also called as ITR-V.

In case you have not filed tax return by affixing digital signature, this ITR-V is to be printed out, signed and sent to CPC Bangalore within 120 days from the date of submission of ITR.

Now, if you try to open the ITR-V file, it asks for a password. This creates a problem because the password that is generally used at the time of logging into the e-filing site does not work while opening the ITR-V. For Professionals it is not difficult to get the Password. They Already know what is the Password of the ITR-V acknowledgment.  Tose person who does not know what is the password of the ITR-V acknowledgment can get the password as mentioned below.

The password to open ITR-V is a combination of the PAN number (in lower case) and the date of birth of the assessee in the format ddmmyyyy.

For example, if your PAN number is ABDEG1230A and the date of birth is 21st July, 1984, then your password will be

Abdeg1230a21071984
