The Companies Bill, 2012 is not applicable for the December 2013 session of examination. The syllabus for the exams would be based on the Companies Act, 1956. The highlights and important provisions of the Companies Bill, 2012 may be asked in the question papers.

CS Result June 2013

Official News Update on CS Results

CS Results of New Foundation, Old Foundation, Executive and Professional programmes have been fixed on 25th August 2013. It was previously reported as August 15 which has changed by ICSI on 11th August 2013. The results will be declared on August 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM. The CS Result June 2013 can also be viewed online on the following website

Procedure for checking CS Result June 2013

CS Students are also requested to note that ICSI has discontinued the practice of sending physical copies of the mark sheets of CS Foundation and Executive Program. The CS Result June 2013 would be announced online and Students can view the same on the above mentioned website by furnishing the Roll No. as mentioned in the CS Admit Card for June 2013

Formal E-Mark sheets of CS Result June 2013 would also be uploaded on the ICSI Student Portal www.icsi.in which may be downloaded by the Students for Reference and Records. However, the Physical Mark Sheets for the CS Professional Program would be sent to the registered address of the Student.

Exemption in June 2013 CS Result

A CS Student who secures 60 Marks or more in any paper of CS Foundation, CS Executive and CS Professional Program in the CS Result June 2013 but fails to clear the group is allowed exemption from reappearing for that paper.

The application for availing exemption for securing more than 60 Marks in CS Results shall be submitted maximum by 25^th March for June Exams and 25^th September for December Exams along with a fee of Rs. 100 per Exempted Paper. The applications can also be submitted with a late fee of Rs. 100 up to 9^th April and 10^th October respectively.

Students who are unsatisfied with the Marks obtained in CS Result June 2013 can also apply for Verification of Marks within 30 days of the declaration of Result.

ICSI-Extension of Last Date for Payment of Annual Membership and Certificate of Practice Fee for the Year 2013-14

Extension of Last Date for Payment of Annual Membership and Certificate of Practice Fee for the Year 2013-14

The annual Membership Fees and certificate of practice fee for the year 2013-14 became due for payment w.e.f. 1^st April, 2013. The Last Date for payment of fee was 30th June, 2013 which has now been extended upto 31^st August, 2013.

The membership and Certificate of Practice fee payable is as follows:-

1. Annual Associate Membership fee           Rs. 1125/-

2. Annual Fellow Membership fee               Rs. 1500/-

3. Annual Certificate of Practice fee            Rs. 1000/-(*)

*The certificate of practice fee must be accompanied by a declaration in form D duly completed in all respects and signed. The requisite form ‘D’ is available on the website of Institute www.icsi.edu

MODE OF REMITTANCE OF FEE The fee can be remitted by way of :

(i) On-Line (through payment Gateway of the Institute’s web-site (www.icsi.edu) by following the steps given below:-

Kindly ensure that your browser is IE8, IE9, Mozila 15.0.1 and above, Chrome 21.0, Safari 4.0.3 and the best resolution for view is 1024×768 pixels.

a. Login to portal www.icsi.edu.

b. Click online services on the right top corner and then click ‘Member’s Tab’ on page.

c. Login for self profile by entering the membership number (like A 1234) as per the sample given on the page and password. In case you do not have a password. You may retrieve your password in case your email is correctly registered in the institute alternatively you may send an email request for password with your ACS / FCS membership number to dd.garg@icsi.edu

d. After login, select the ‘Member Option’ then click on “Online services “

e. Select the check box if you are CP holder (for COP payment).

f. Click on Proceed for Payment button for payment.

g. Keep the generated acknowledgment for future reference and record.

(ii) Credit Card at the Institute’s Headquarter at Lodi Road, New Delhi or Regional Offices located at Kolkata, New Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai.

(iii) Cash/ local cheque drawn in favour of `The Institute of Company Secretaries of India’, payable at New Delhi at the Institute’s Headquarter or Regional/ Chapter Offices located at Kolkata, New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune respectively. Out Station cheques will not be accepted. However, at par cheques will be accepted.

(iv) Demand draft / Pay order drawn in favour of `The Institute of Company Secretaries of India’, payable at New Delhi (indicating on the reverse name and membership number).

CPT Passed Students Exempt from CS Foundation

Registration of CPT passed students of ICAI / or Foundation  passed students of ICoAI to CS Executive Program. We are pleased to inform that students who have passed Foundation Examination of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India ( ICoAI ) / or students who have passed Common Proficiency Test ( CPT) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) are eligible to take direct registration in CS Executive Program.  ( Earlier only Final Passed students of ICoAI  / or ICAI were eligible to take direct registration in CS Executive Program.) Rs 7000/- shall be charged from them for admission in CS Executive Program. Verification of Marks of CS December 2011 Examinations

VERIFICATION OF MARKS  OF CS  DECEMBER, 2011 EXAMINATIONS           In terms of regulation 46 (2) of  The Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982, as in force, a candidate can seek ‘Verification of Marks’ in any subject(s) of  December , 2011 examination within one month from the date of  declaration of results.  The application for verification of marks should be made by interested candidates in the prescribed form given below, in candidate’s own handwriting together with  requisite fee @ Rs.100/- per subject within one month from the date of  declaration of results, i.e., upto and including 26th March, 2012 (25th    March, 2012 being Holiday).                The application for verification of marks duly completed in all respects should reach on or before the last date,  addressed to The Joint Director (Exams.), The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, C-37, Institutional Area, Sector 62, NOIDA – 201309 (U.P.). Candidates are advised not to club any other query/matter or remittance of fees  along with his/her request for Verification of Marks to facilitate an early reply.                The response time to candidates’ requests for verification of marks is normally  3-4 weeks from the date of receipt of their applications in the Examination Deptt. of the Institute. After completion of verification process, outcome of the verification of marks is hosted on the Institute’s website: www.icsi.edu and the candidate concerned by entering his/her Roll No. or Student Registration Number can enquire about the status/outcome of his/her application. The candidates concerned are also individually informed about the outcome of their requests by post.  However, if a candidate does not receive any communication by 10th May , 2012, he/she should write to the Joint Director (Exams.) giving relevant details – (i) his/her name; (ii) student registration number and Roll Number; (iii) stage and module(s) of examination (iv) name of the subject(s) in which verification of marks was sought; (v) date of application and mode of  its dispatch;  (vi) amount of verification fee and mode of its remittance, viz., Bank Draft No., date of issue of Bank Draft, Name of drawee bank; (vii) complete postal address along with PIN Code;  (viii) e-mail id; and (ix) Mobile/ Telephone Number.
