Job for CA in Fortis as Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Description

Responsible for all tax issues, production of the statutory accounts and corporation tax accounting

o Ensure compliance with statutory & accounting laws & principles

o Develop and execute various system processes for internal control

o Conduct audits (both statutory and supervising) internally at timely intervals

Prepare, analyze and report monthly management accounts

o Preparation of full year budget and financial forecasts

o Production of monthly financial information.

o Updated and timely generation of MIS to help senior management take informed decisions

Manage the working capital and funds of the organization

o Monitor all Capital Expenditure against budgets set individually.

o Ensure effective control of costs and expenses.

o Present budget comparisons against actuals (For operational expenses) every month.

Timely vendor payments as per purchase order

o Compliance with terms of Purchase Order

Monitors cost and profit performance of all departments regularly and suggests corrective action wherever needed

Maintenance of all records as per organizational requirements

Timely preparation and submission of periodic reports to internal and external authorities

Interaction with the statutory and internal auditors

Review the status of various contracts and update them

Various analysis as and when required by the management

Responsible for audit rating

Continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems

Advice Financial Controller on latest trend in accounting

Planning for Tax

Ensures all organizational and statutory policies/requirements are adhered to

Implementing and monitoring systems and procedures in all financial functions

Any other task assigned by the HOD and the management.
